short story about us

The Iculo Foundation is very close to our hearts! Iculo is the Zulu word for "Song"... and our slogan is: "Changing Africa one song at a time." This is exactly what we aim to do. Providing the means for students to develop their cognitive and other abilities through music education by contributing towards their music education and musical instruments.

It is our great privilege to introduce to you the one and only Iculo Foundation – A non-profit organization aspiring to make quality music education accessible to the greater African community. It has long been the heart and soul of the founders of SuperMuso to serve all aspiring musicians in Africa by providing access to high quality musical instruction, regardless of race, gender, age and financial background. The dream becomes a reality with your help.

Quality music education is the key that unlocks the boundless potential within every underdeveloped child. Through the harmonious symphony of notes and rhythms, we cultivate creativity, discipline, and empathy, allowing their spirits to soar and their minds to expand. Music enriches their lives, empowering them to overcome challenges and discover the extraordinary within themselves. Let us invest in the arts, for it is through melody and melody alone that we shall craft a world where every child's dreams resound with the beautiful chorus of opportunity and hope."

Through quality music education, I learned the value of practice, dedication, and perseverance. The discipline required to master an instrument spilled over into other areas of my life, teaching me the importance of hard work and commitment.
